Viajarás a través del campo cretense hasta llegar a Agios Nikolaos. Escondida en la costa noreste, la vibrante ciudad se encuentra entre la enorme bahía de Mirabello y una cadena de colinas.
Cuando llegues, dispondrás de un par de horas para explorar por tu cuenta. Deambula por el mercado al aire libre, compra algunos souvenirs en sus tiendas o da un paseo por el puerto y las cafeterías del muelle.
Luego te dirigirás a Kritsa, centro de la artesanía cretense. En verano, la calle principal de este pueblo de montaña está repleta de puestos de artesanía. Aquí podrás disfrutar de más tiempo libre, donde podrás conseguir hermosas telas de lino bordado, cerámicas o alfombras hechas a mano.

In this walking tour you will have a chance to discover a different Athens: You will join the Athenians in their everyday life – where food IS king – and you will experience a tasty slice of true Modern Greek culture and delicious eating habits.
Our culinary journey will take us to carefully selected specialty food stores, where we will taste some of the finest olive oil, cheese and honey available and local delicacies such as ‘pastourma’ cured meat. We will stroll through traditional, authentic neighborhoods in the heart of Athens and visit some wonderful pastry shops serving favorite Greek sweets. We will be immersed in the colors and smells of local spices, the secret behind many of the most renowned dishes of Greek cuisine, and aromatic Greek coffee (which you may have heard of as ‘Turkish’!).
The irresistible smell of freshly baked delicacies will lead our steps into one of the oldest traditional bakeries of the city. Our journey will continue through the bustling alleys of Varvakios, the picturesque fish, meat and vegetable market -the true "belly of Athens". And, last but not least, we will make a stop at a local joint for an authentic taste of the celebrated Greek souvlaki!
What better way to spend the day than sailing over the Aegean, stopping at beaches and islands along the way? That’s the score on this cruise from Sithonia to Ouranoupolisle. First up, you’ll board the ship, lazing on deck as it cuts through the waters and passes by green islands. Then, you’ll drop anchor at Gaidouronisi Island, where a stretch of sand melts into shallow waters. Spend a couple of hours here soaking up the sun and swimming in the sea before rejoining your ship for lunch. Next, your boat will cruise on to Amouliani Island, where you can explore the small village. Pasea por las numerosas pequeñas tiendas y piérdete por las callejuelas laterales de adoquines mientras asistes al espectáculo de la vida local dentro de las murallas de esta ciudad medieval. Dating back to 1900 BC, it was the hub of Crete’s Minoan civilisation and where the fearsome Minotaur was said to have lurked in a labyrinth. Your guide will explain the myths surrounding the palace and its kings as they lead you round its treasures, including its throne room, royal apartments and frescoes. With your explorations over here, it’s then on to Heraklion, Crete’s capital. See the Venetian lion fountain and the loggia that is now the town hall before finishing up at the entrance to the old harbour. Then the time’s your own to explore how you want, perhaps shopping at the market, walking round the harbour walls or visiting the 16th century Venetian fortress.
