Prickly Pear Cay is pure paradise. Lying a short distance off the coast of Anguilla it is completely deserted … and all about relaxation. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius and St. Barts and Anguilla. A brief orientation will prepare you to fly down the mountain at speeds of up to 56 miles per hour on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman.
You’ll be attached to a flight line in a secure harnessed chair, launching you on the 1050-foot drop in elevation over 2630 feet to experience the ride of a lifetime. Embark the Pirate Sky Ride for your journey up to the Pirate Deck. After your orientation, you will put your safety equipment and harness system for your Zip Line flight over the mountain ridge.
To complete your top-to-bottom thrill ride, the Pirate Sky Ride will take you to the Schooner Ride where you’ll surf down the mountain in an inner tube through the curves and straightaways of a specially designed track.
