Construida para proteger al naciente Imperio de las intenciones guerreras de sus vecinos del norte, esta enorme fortificación se extiende a lo largo de miles de kilómetros a través de impresionantes paisajes de alta montaña. Meet your food-loving local guide and begin a Beijing food adventure to remember, walking the bustling alleys to gain real insight into the life of local life while sampling the tasty local food on the street.

Throughout our Beijing food tour, your local guide will recommend some local snacks for sampling, and you’ll also have the chance try some specialties from elsewhere in China. You will explore the stories behind tasty treats like spring onion pancakes, Sichuan noodles, donkey meat sandwiches, and mini hotpots. There’s an endless supply of local specialties to sample as we eat our way around the one of the biggest produce markets in the centre of Beijing.

Along the way you’ll meet local culinary masters, like noodle and tofu makers, and join locals for their daily food shopping (practice some Chinese words and phrases from your local guide!). Learn about different vegetables and spices, and maybe even pick up a trick or two about authentic Chinese cooking.

We’ll end our Beijing food tour in a convenient spot: Old Gulou Dajie. From here, it’s easy to head to the Houhai Lake area, or to move on to other districts where you can explore local bars, cafés and restaurants. The night’s young, so head out for a drink or more food — if your stomach has the space, that is.

Xian Bell Tower, South Avenue, Beilin District

Sightseeing with a difference, on this tour you will be able to enjoy the sights of Xian as you cycle along the top of the old City Wall .One of the major landmarks of the city is Xian City Wall, one of the oldest and best preserved in China.

Ascend to the top of the gate to begin your bike ride and your chance to explore different sections of the wall. On the completion of the bike ride, the tour will take you to Shuyuanmen Street. Shuyuanmen Street is best known for its shops selling traditional Chinese artware and artwork, an interesting place to have a stroll.

At the mention of the great number of the Xi’an attractions, terracotta soldiers always come as the first.
