Most of these half-timbered frame houses are made of stone with delicate wooden window frames and stun visitors with their exceptional frescoes. After some time at leisure, drive back in the evening via Zürich to Lucerne.

A 90 minutes drive by bus through the picturesque Arve Valley takes us from Geneva to Chamonix, one of the most famous mountain villages at the foot of the remarkable and majestic Mont-Blanc, the highest peak of Europe (4807 m./15.771 ft).
