Este viaje le ofrece la oportunidad de disfrutar de la preciosa costa de Kenia, las vistas más hermosas sobre las turquesas aguas de los manglares ecológicamente notables y una experiencia entre la gente Shirazi. Llegada a la playa Bodo donde la tripulación del Dhow árabe le llevará en un crucero a través de Funzi Creek, pasando por islas deshabitadas y bosques de manglares naturales. En la isla Funzi, una visita al histórico pueblo pesquero que estuvo vinculado con el comercio de esclavos cuyas ruinas aún se pueden ver. Continúa con una visita a la escuela del pueblo, a una casa privada y al mercado. A continuación se visita un banco de arena único que emerge del mar en marea baja. Aquí se puede nadar, o simplemente pasear por la arena de color blanco puro en el medio del mar. Se hará un viaje en vela a la isla deshabitada de Kinazini donde le espera un suntuoso almuerzo de mariscos y opciones tanto para los vegetarianos y como para los no vegetarianos. Después del almuerzo, se viajará en canoas hasta el cercano río Ramisi para explorar las numerosas especies de manglares. Usted tendrá la oportunidad de ver cocodrilos y varias especies de aves. Por la tarde crucero de regreso a Bodo y traslado a su hotel. Dependiendo de las mareas, el recorrido se puede invertir para visitar primero el río.

A visit to Old Town reveals the rich culture and architectural heritage of Mombasa. Fort Jesus was built by the Portuguese in the 16th-century and is surrounded by narrow streets, ancient mosques and picturesque residential houses. You will visit the old dhow harbour, bazaar and the market, then drive through the Elephant Tusks on Moi Avenue. The tour includes a visit to the Akamba wood carvers, where you can see the carvers at work and buy great value souvenirs all at fixed prices. Lunch is taken at the famous Tamarind restaurant and usually served on a traditional Arabic dhow boat. In the afternoon we visit the Haller Park,where you can meet meet lots of animals and if you're lucky witness feeding time. Kinazini Funzi Dhow is a full day nature excursion with a caring social conscience giving you the opportunity to learn about the wildlife and the people. The day includes a dhow boat trip out to a sand bank close to Funzi island where you have the chance to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. You will also travel up the Ramisi River by motorised canoe on the look out for the birds and crocodiles that live in the mangroves. A delicious seafood lunch is included and also a trip to the village on Funzi Island where you will visit the local school and observe daily life. This is a fascinating insight to rural Kenya and the organisers are involved in many community projects to help the local people.

The Masai Mara is Kenya's ultimate game reserve and one of the best in the world, so any safari here will be special. However, if you are coming to the Mara, then why not stay at its most famous camp, with its traditionally colonial atmosphere. This excellent value lodge commands a favourable location in the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve - it even has its own airstrip. The lodge is built next to a hippo pool where you may see animals basking in the sunshine. There's also a wooden walkway that lets you get that little bit closer to these impressive creatures. At the end of the walkway you find a viewing area with a bar - perfect for that pre-dinner drink. The lodge itself is a comfortable place to stay and features accommodation in cottages set throughout the gardens. There's even a swimming pool for cooling off between game drives. Surrounding the lodge is the Masai Mara reserve, with its fantastic game-viewing opportunities - the sheer concentration of animals here is astonishing.

The most famous national park in Kenya boasts an abundance of wildlife in beautiful surroundings. Superior in number of animals and breathtaking scenery the Mara is the master of our game parks and no visitor is left untouched by it. Lions, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, giraffe, elephants, warthogs, gazelle, hippo and crocodiles are just a few of the animals you can hope to spot here. At Mara Safari Club, the natural splendour is complemented by superb tented accommodation on the banks of the river, where you can watch the wildlife go by from your balcony. These tents are home to beautifully carved rustic furniture and four-poster beds which will only heighten your enjoyment. The food here is delicious, with lunch often served al fresco by the heated swimming pool and after dinner you can retreat to the comfort of the bar area to discuss the days sightings in front of the roaring log fire! You just 'have' to visit the Mara when in Kenya, so why not treat yourself and do it in style!

This one gives you time to explore Kenya's largest game park, Tsavo East. Covering more than 20,000 square kilometres, it's bigger than Wales. Here, you can enjoy the company of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and tick off over 500 species of bird. But this safari has a lot more going for it than just wildlife, the accomodation at Voi Safari Lodge has one of the most stunning views in East Africa. In the evening, it's back to the lodge for a chance to unwind and do some animal-watching by night. The lodge has its own floodlit watering hole which attracts elephants and buffalos, and with an underground viewing hide too, you're likely to get a front-row seat.

For a dhow experience with that personal touch, this trip is a must-do. Limited numbers, personal service and little extras such as prescription snorkels will ensure you're pampered from beginning to end. As you cruise through the waters around Wasini and Kisite Marine Park, there'll be plenty of opportunities for snorkelling. And if it's your first time, help is on hand to introduce you to the underwater world. As the day continues, you'll be welcomed to Wasini Island to the sound of Swahili song before tucking into a seafood lunch. The afternoon is free to spend as you like :wonder round the local village or soak up some sun before returning to the mainland.
