Day 1
Arrival to the international airport of Chihuahua where you will be received by Viajes Dorados staff and transferred to your hotel. You will receive your travel documents that contain hotel coupons, train tickets and your itinerary.
Later (your tour will be scheduled at your arrival) you will enjoy a guided City Tour of Chihuahua visiting Pancho Villa museum (closed on Mondays), the Cathedral, the State Capitol and its famous murals of the Chihuahua state history, the colonial Aqueduct and the residential districts.
Day 2
Early transfer to the airport for our flight to Temoris, box breakfast on board. 1 ½ hour approx. Overflying the Town of Creel, and 3 of the main Canyons. Landing in the Town of Temoris and transfer to the nearby train station of Temoris. This is one of the most scenic parts of the trip; here you can see 3 levels of the tracks as it winds back and forth to gain altitude. And it is here that the railroad Chihuahua al Pacifico was inaugurated by President Lopes Mateos in November 1961.
We will board the train at this station about 11.30 am and continue through the most rugged part of the train trip. This is where you will see most of the 86 tunnels and 37 bridges. About 1.30 pm we will arrive the area known as Divisadero/Posadas Barrancas and transfer to the hotel on the rim.
DAY 3
Breakfast included at the hotel, then guided tour to Parque Aventura Barrancas del Cobre “adventure park” where you will enjoy walking tours around the area, visit different views points like Mirador Piedra Volada, challenge your spirit of adventure in the hanging bridge that crosses a small canyon and an included ride in the cable car or free time for rides on your own on Zipe Rider; zip line or Via ferrata (optional-not included) or simply buy nice crafts from the Tarahumaras.
DAY 4
Breackfast included at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your trip home.
