Set off to explore the pre-impressionism in the footsteps of Jean-François Millet. The day will start with the visit of the Orsay museum with audioguide, famous thanks to its rich pre-impressionist collection. You will continue your way to Barbizon village to discover the cradle of the pre-impressionist movement that inspired numerous impressionist artists. After lunch (included), visit with audioguide of the Auberge Ganne (Departemental Museum of Barbizon School). Then, visit Jean-François Millet's workshop on your own. The leader of Barbizon school lived there with his nine children and painted his masterpieces that made him so famous all around the world. Free time to stroll in the village.
