If you want to see the sights and sounds of heady Marrakech, this two day trip contains all the best bits of the city plus a visit to the Portuguese town of Essaouira. On day one, you'll be whisked to the Imperial City of Marrakech and given a tour of the medina and main sights like the Bahia Palace. Following dinner, this is the best time of day to visit the Jemaa El Fna square where you can watch as the red glow of the sun as it sets. The next day, journey to Essaouira for an altogether more relaxed way of life. Spend the day wandering around the narrow streets, sampling the fresh seafood and checking out the sights in this enchanting town.
